At-home dog DNA test results shared by buyers, compared to the breed the puppy was advertised as.
This breeder advertised a purebred Golden Retriever, but the DNA came back Golden Retriever + Chow Chow! No wonder my dog is so large!
We were told Mini Bernedoodle, but the DNA came back Poodle + Bernese + Great Pyrenees. He's already 70 pounds — definitely not "mini"!
Advertised as a purebred Cavalier, but the DNA showed Cavalier + Cocker Spaniel. We love her anyway, just wish we'd known.
DNA results are self-reported by buyers using at-home test kits and are not verified by Pawthenticity.
Comments shared by people who bought from this breeder.
Our puppy was healthy and they answered all of our questions before we picked her up. Smooth experience overall.
Cute puppy, but it took three emails before I got any vaccination records. Wish that part had been easier.
Our puppy came home with kennel cough and needed a vet visit the first week. He's doing fine now, but it was stressful.
Friendly people, but the kennel was a lot more crowded than the photos online made it look.
