Pawthenticity is a volunteer-run transparency project focused on dog breeding. Volunteers help bring transparency to an industry where information is often scattered and deliberately hidden.

What Volunteers Do

Most volunteer tasks are small, flexible, and interesting! You can:

• Research breeder social media pages
• Keep tabs on new litters to document them
• Help verify license or inspection information
• Look up business registrations or LLC connections
• Check public records and cross-reference data
• Flag outdated or confusing breeder listings
• Help us spot patterns or missing information

How Much Time Does It Take?

There’s no minimum commitment. Many tasks take:

• 👉 5–20 minutes
• 👉 whenever you have time
• 👉 whenever something catches your interest
