Warden viewed sharp wire edges on multiple areas of 2 primary enclosures.

Warden viewed a large pen with dirt floor that was not water-resistant and also viewed numerous areas with rusty wire and unsealed wood in primary enclosures throughout the housing facilities.

Warden observed several water bowls with sharp chewed edges.

Warden noticed that there were no smoke alarms nor fire extinguishers at the kennel.

Warden observed fencing of enclosures with sharp points or edges that could injure the dogs.

Warden observed exposed wood surfaces within dogs' housing facilities which were not constructed or maintained so that they are water resistant and may be readily sanitized.

Warden measured an internal kennel temperature exceeding 89° F.

Warden measured an internal kennel temperature exceeding 89° F with no auxiliary ventilation provided.

Warden observed a buildup of excreta that had not been removed from primary enclosures at least once daily.

Warden viewed primary enclosures that had a build-up of hair, dirt, debris, and excreta. This warden instructed the kennel owner to take the following actions: Sanitize primary a minimum of once daily, or as often as necessary, to prevent an accumulation of debris or excreta or a disease hazard.

Kennel owner failed to submit their application for renewal of the kennel license for 2026.

Warden observed fencing of enclosures with sharp points or edges that could injure the dogs.

Warden observed exposed wood surfaces within dogs' housing facilities which were not constructed or maintained so that they are water resistant and may be readily sanitized.

Warden observed dogs house outdoors and provided access to shelter that did not protect them against inclement weather, preserve their body heat and keep them dry. Temperature readings inside the shelter boxes were 29o degrees Fahrenheit.

Warden viewed water receptacles for dogs and the water contained therein was frozen.

Warden viewed enclosures that had a buildup of dirt, feces, and debris.

Warden did not view a current and valid rabies vaccination record for three (3) adult dogs on premises.

A veterinary examination was ordered on (1) dog under section 402(a) based on warden's observations of the condition of dogs during an inspection. Kennel is in compliance with section 402(d) because proof that a veterinary examination was completed within the 72-hour time frame was provided by a veterinarian.

This Warden found water bowl receptacles that had not been sanitized regularly by evidence of having algae in the water bowls.

Warden viewed excessive amounts of feces in the area beneath the raised kennel flooring of the outdoor section of primary enclosures, indicative that the excreta was not being removed on a daily basis as required.

Warden viewed many flies surrounding the kennels particularly underneath the enclosures.

Warden also observed a puppy get its head stuck in the kennel sides, and it took the kennel owner to free it.

Warden and Veterinarian viewed primary enclosures housing dogs that had a buildup of dirt, feces, and debris.

Warden and Veterinarian viewed a significant number of flies surrounding the kennels where dogs were housed, particularly underneath the primary enclosures.

Additionally, the foliage surrounding the kennel premises was tall, overgrown, and unkept which encourages pests.

Warden and Veterinarian viewed three (3) dogs which had overgrown fur that was moderately matted.

Additionally, several dogs were observed with excessively overgrown toenails that required trimming.

A veterinary examination was ordered on a dog under section 402(a) based on warden’s observations of the condition of dogs during inspection. Kennel is in compliance with section 402(d) because veterinary examination was completed within the 72-hour time frame.
