- Feces and grime in enclosures (Legal)
Upon inspection a accumulation of organic matter was found on the kennels interior portions of the primary enclosures. The licensee stated that they picked up feces every day and disinfecting on a bi-weekly basis as required but an accumulation of excreta was still found in and on the enclosures. This matter will be referred to ODA’s Legal Counsel due to the repetitive occurrence of the violation and the licensee being put on previous notice. The licensee was able to remove the excreta from the kennel during the inspection.
- Feeder with feces in enclosure
Upon inspection one enclosure housing two dogs had a feeder with an accumulation of excreta. During the inspection the licensee was able to correct this issue. Corrected on: 2/13/2025
- Expired vaccination container
Upon inspection the licensee had an expired container of vaccinations, the licensee had purchased a new container and had not used the expired medication as of the expiration date. Corrected on: 2/13/2025
- Missing three destination addresses
Upon inspection the licensee lacked three addresses of dogs which had left the premises, during the inspection the licensee was able to correct this issue. Corrected on: 2/13/2025
- Four days of records missing
Upon inspection the licensee lacked four days of complete records but were following the requirements. The licensee will make sure from this day forward they are keeping the records up to date. Corrected on: 2/13/2025
