  • Maltese and Miniature Poodle vaccinations overdue

The applicant is not following the vaccination schedule in the written Program of Veterinary Care (PVC). Three dogs are not up to date on their Distemper and Parvovirus vaccinations, a required vaccination. The current Program of Veterinary Care prescribes for these vaccines to be given every 12 months. The following dogs are overdue for the Distemper and Parvovirus vaccines: -Adult female Maltese (#494) last received a Distemper and Parvovirus vaccine on 8/25/2023. -Adult female Miniature Poodle (#413) last received a Distemper and Parvovirus vaccine on 9/28/2023. -Adult female Miniature Poodle (#473) last received a Distemper and Parvovirus vaccine on 11/30/2023. Failure to administer required vaccines in accordance with a veterinary approved schedule leaves the dogs susceptible to Distemper and Parvovirus, which if contracted, can cause pain, distress, and suffering. Correct by contacting the Attending Veterinarian to create a plan to determine when to vaccinate these animals. Correct by 11-APRIL-2025.
