- Cavalier female missing enclosure door
There is one enclosure in the whelping area that contained one adult cavalier female that did not have a door. There was about the 1 foot tall wall below the missing door area of the enclosure. The enclosure was raised about 2.5 feet off the floor. The wall would not prevent the dog from jumping out of the raised enclosure. Jumping out of a raised enclosure could cause injury to the dog. In addition if the dog were to leave the enclosure it would no longer have access to its food or water and could potentially risk giving birth outside of the enclosure. All occupied enclosures must be constructed and maintain in such a way as to securely contain dogs. Correction Date: October 24, 2024
