The facility is not following the written Program of Veterinary Care (PVC). The PVC states that all animals over 6 months of age are to be heartworm tested each year. In 2025, heartworm testing was only performed on 7 of the approximately 22 adults. Failure to perform sampling in accordance with a veterinary approved schedule may result in animals to not be adequately protected against disease and/or can cause pain and distress. Correct by ensuring all sampling is performed in accordance with the schedule approved by the Attending Veterinarian. Correct by 13-APRIL-2026.
