Approximately half a dozen doggy doors were observed to have fecal material smeared on the doors. When asked, the licensee stated he sanitizes the doggy doors about once every two months and they were last sanitized about a month ago. Not sanitizing the doggy doors on a biweekly basis (or more often if necessary) allows for fecal material and grime to build up which can contribute to the spread of disease. The licensee must sanitize the doggy doors every two weeks or more often as necessary to prevent the accumulation of dirt, debris, excreta, and other disease hazards. Correct starting on 9/4/26.
Approximately 10 adult male dogs have not been vaccinated against distemper/parvo in the past year. The program of veterinary care requires the licensee to vaccinate all adult dogs on a yearly basis. Not having all adult dogs vaccinated against these diseases doesn't ensure they are adequately protected against these diseases. All adult dogs must be vaccinated against distemper/parvo in accordance with the schedule that is approved by the attending veterinarian. Correct by 9/28/26.
