While the Pomeranians did have a cage card present, they are required to have a collar after 4 months of age. It is important to have proper ID on all regulated animals for proper management and traceability. All dogs over 4 months of age should be identified by a tag/tattoo or microchip. All puppy records should have the date of sale/transfer/donation and death recorded, and there should be puppy records for every litter born on the property available during inspections. All inventory/record of acquisition should be up to date on all regulated animals on the property and dates of those who are no longer at the facility. The gaps surrounding the doors is an area where dirt and debris can collect and need to be replaced or repaired when the caulking fails or is no longer present. Open cracks or surfaces inside of the primary enclosures that are not sealed can provide an area where dirt/grime can collect which can hold bacteria. All surfaces and enclosures must be kept in good repair and any cracked or broken surface should be repaired or replaced.
