- Adult dogs missing required vaccines
The facility is not following the vaccination schedule in the written Program of Veterinary Care (PVC): -The PVC states to administer Rabies vaccinations for animals added to the facility within 90 days of acquiring that animal. Adult dogs #4485, #4483, #9753, #9769, #9784, #9394, #9756 did not receive a Rabies Vaccination within 90 days of the facility acquiring the animal. -The PVC states to administer Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis, and Leptospirosis vaccinations at 9, 12, and 15 weeks of age. The following adult dogs did not receive one or more of these vaccinations: #9756, #9753, #9769, and #9394. Failure to administer required vaccines in accordance with a veterinary approved schedule may result in animals to not be adequately protected against disease and can cause pain and distress. Correct by ensuring all animals are vaccinated in accordance with the schedule approved by the Attending Veterinarian and contact the Attending Veterinarian to review records and create a plan to determine when to administer future vaccinations for these animals.
