- Waste pooling by kennel drains
The drainage pipes for the kennel washdowns are emptying a few feet away from the side of the kennel building, resulting in an accumulation of waste and dirty water. There were a large number of flies present on and around this area. Accumulation of waste in close proximity to the dogs can result in the presence of noxious odors and pest infestation. This area must be cleaned of the waste currently present, and drainage extended as far as necessary from the kennel to reduce the potential impact on the animals. Correct by: 17 June 2023
