The pieces of dry dog food had a fuzzy, light grey-light green material growing on them, which appeared to be mold. Some pieces of food were also caked onto the bottom/sides of the feeder. The enclosures these feeders were attached to house a total of 6 dogs. Having food contaminated by mold in the feeders is problematic in case a dog was to ingest the food, which could cause intestinal upset or other illness. Additionally, non-consumable food could increase the potential for attracting pests and causing unpleasant odors in the kennel. It is unclear when the feeders were last cleaned and sanitized. The licensee disposed of the moldy food at the time of the inspection. Correct by ensuring food fed to the dogs is uncontaminated, wholesome, and palatable. Correct by: August 26, 2026."}],"si":1}]}
