- Plastic urine bottles with buildup in enclosures
Plastic bottles placed in the primary enclosures for males to urinate on have not been removed or cleaned and appear to have urine buildup on then.

The primary enclosures that are runs made of chain link all have jagged edges caused by corrosion from rust.

Strong odor, hair, and waste is present in the primary enclosures on the floor of the facility. The enclosures are not being cleaned in a 24-hour period.

The elevated primary enclosures do not have jagged edges. Discussed with the owner of the facility that if he is having trouble fixing or replacing the chain link that he may consider taking them out of use. Action must be taken to address the excessive rust and jagged edges by 10/24/23.
- Strong ammonia odor throughout facility
A strong odor of ammonia is present throughout the facility. The owner aired out of the facility yesterday with the doors and windows open. The owner will try scrubbing the facility today. The floors do have urine stains from over the last day or so but water does bead up and run off suggesting the floors are still sealed. Discussed with the owner that it could be stagnate waste in the drainage system causing the odor.
- Rusting chain link hindering cleaning
The rusting chain link is making it hard to clean effectively catching hair and waste. Urine stains in the primary enclosures also suggest the enclosures are not being cleaned often enough.

The owner is unable to maintain the facility. The owner states that he is unable to maintain the facility and cannot find the help to fix the noncompliant issue.
