- Old bedding inside shelters
Outdoor enclosures housing dogs had old bedding inside the shelters. The licensee stated that the bedding was from last winter. Outdoor housing areas using material such as absorbent bedding must be sanitized by removing the contaminated material to prevent odors, diseases, and pests. To be corrected by November 23, 2015.

- Feces piled on outdoor cement pad
An excess accumulation of fecal material was seen on the outdoor cement pad of sheltered housing for at least 9 enclosures housing 11 dogs. Owner states that he normally removes fecal material every other day. Excessive build up of waste is unsanitary and can lead to health problems in the dogs and pest problems. Correction should include daily spot cleaning of fecal material from surfaces that the dogs come in contact with and sanitizing when necessary to prevent build up of fecal matter. Spot cleaning to be corrected by 6 pm, 12/7/2016.
