- Adult dogs missing required vaccines
The facility is not following the Program of Vet Care (PVC) for vaccinations. The current Program of Vet Care prescribes for the rabies vaccination to be performed at 18 weeks of age, then at 1 year, then every 3 years after booster at 1 year of age. The distemper and parvovirus vaccinations are to be given every 4 weeks up to 18 weeks of age, then given yearly after that. Correct by administering all of the vaccines required by the Animal Welfare Act (distemper, parvovirus, and rabies) in accordance with a schedule approved by the Attending Veterinarian and vaccine manufacturer recommendations.
