Warden viewed six dogs over sixteen weeks of age that did not have current rabies vaccinations.

During this inspection wardens observed a puppy sticking its head through a hole in the metal strand in the indoor housing facility.

Wardens also viewed multiple primary enclosures with broken wire and one dog igloo house which had been chewed with jagged edges.

During this inspection wardens observed water dishes with green growth in the bowls.

The primary enclosures used to house dogs throughout one section of the kennel had shavings for bedding placed overtop of gravel/dirt floors which were not being sanitized daily, as evidenced by statements made from the kennel owner, as well as the condition of the enclosures having hair, dirt, and debris built up inside them.

Wardens observed an accumulation of cobwebs in the young dog area of the kennel.

The primary enclosures used to house dogs throughout one section of the kennel had shavings for bedding placed overtop of gravel/dirt floors which are not water resistant and able to be readily sanitized.

Wardens observed feces in one area of the primary enclosure that was not being removed daily. This Warden directs the kennel owner to take the following action(s): Excreta shall be removed from the primary enclosure, including any floor area or ground surface beneath the primary enclosure, on a daily basis.

Wardens observed an accumulation of cobwebs in the kennel.

This warden observed 11 adult dogs that did not have current rabies vaccinations.

Warden viewed sharp edges on multiple spots of the wood and broken wires in the primary enclosure/housing facility that contained dogs during this inspection.

Warden viewed exposed wood in the housing facility that was no longer water resistant.

Warden viewed a shelter that housed Alaskan Klee Kai type breed dogs. The inside portion used to preserve the dog’s body heat had a Kestrel device temperature reading of 32-34 Degrees Fahrenheit. With temperatures being 19 Degrees Fahrenheit, the shelter was not protecting said dogs from the inclement weather. For this reason, a cruelty referral was made to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

Warden measured and took temperature readings via a kestrel device in primary enclosures housing dogs, which were between 32-34 degrees Fahrenheit. For this reason, a cruelty referral was made to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

Warden viewed no auxiliary ventilation such as fans, blowers, or air conditioners in the housing facilities where dogs were housed that would minimize ammonia levels. Warden viewed urine saturated bedding and noted a strong presence of ammonia with the housing facilities.

Warden viewed unclean water receptacles provided to dogs which appeared to be contaminated by algae, urine, bird and rodent droppings.

Warden viewed shaving style bedding provided to dogs which was saturated by urine and feces.

Warden viewed excessive amounts of excreta in primary enclosures and beneath primary enclosures. For this reason, a cruelty referral was made to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

Warden viewed primary enclosures which housed dogs that had an accumulation of debris, urine, and excreta. For this reason, a cruelty referral was made to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

Warden viewed an accumulation of excreta, dirt, bird feces, and rusted fencing throughout the kennel building.

There were 2 dead mice found within the kennel and no evidence of a program to control such pests.

Warden viewed two black Miniature Poodle type breed dogs with moderate matting on their abdomens and rear legs. For this reason, a cruelty referral was made to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

Warden observed one adult dog that did not have a current rabies vaccination.

Warden viewed that the kennel owner had transferred two Alaskan Klee Kai type dogs into the kennel from New York without first obtaining a valid Certificate of Veterinary Inspection.

Warden viewed that the kennel owner had transferred two Alaskan Klee Kai type dogs over 8 weeks of age into the kennel from New York without proof of required vaccinations.

Warden viewed that the kennel owner was not implementing the plan of vet care for dogs imported into the kennel from another state.

Warden viewed multiple areas of chewed wood with sharp edges and broken wire in the primary enclosures and housing facility that contained dogs during this inspection.

Warden viewed unsealed and chewed wood in the housing facility that was no longer water resistant.

Dogs in the greenhouse type housing facility were kept on floors that could not be readily sanitized.
