This Warden viewed 2 primary enclosures that did not the meet the minimum size requirement for the dogs housed therein.

This Warden viewed wire flooring in a primary enclosure that housed an adult dog. The wire flooring was removed promptly by the kennel owner.

This Warden noted that all exhaust/fresh air fans were NOT in operation when entering each room of the kennel facility. The kennel owner turned on all exhaust/fresh air fans as instructed by this Warden.

This Warden viewed dilapidated wooden structures in the outside exercise area that housed dogs. Warden also viewed moderately high grass/weeds along outside exercise dividers. The outside exercise area is in need of a general cleaning to remove algae that is present on some wooden surfaces.

This Warden viewed records indicating the kennel owner transferred ownership of dogs into the kennel. The dogs were transported from out state and did not have a certificate of health from the state of origination.

A veterinary examination was ordered on a dog under section 402(a) based on warden’s observations of the condition of dogs during inspection. Kennel is in compliance with section 402(d) because veterinary examination was completed within the 72-hour time frame.
