This Warden noted and measured ammonia levels between 10-20ppm of ammonia."},{"h":"Self-feeders caked with debris","tags":[],"q":"This Warden observed in one of the kennel buildings, self-feeders that had caked on debris along the top and sides of the containers."},{"h":"Dirt and feces on kennels, feeders","tags":[],"q":"Wardens observed dirt, debris, scale on kennels in primary enclosures and self-feeders. Also, there was a significant amount of excreta along the outside wall of one of the kennel runs where a garden is planted. This Warden advised kennel owner to take the following action: Primary enclosures for dogs shall be sanitized a minimum of once daily, and as often as is necessary to prevent and accumulation of debris or excreta or a disease hazard. A dog may not be placed in a primary enclosure previously occupied unless the enclosure has been sanitized."},{"h":"Rust on kennels, feces along wall","tags":[],"q":"Wardens observed dirt, debris, and scale on kennels in primary enclosures, and self-feeders. Rust on some of the kennels in the primary enclosures and fencing on the outside runs of one of the kennel buildings. Also, a significant amount of excreta along the outside wall of one of the kennel runs where a garden is planted. Wardens advised kennel owner to take the following action: The buildings and grounds of kennel shall be maintained, kept clean and in good repair to protect the animals from injury and to facilitate the practices required by this chapter. Kennels shall have an effective program that controls the ingress by insects, ectoparasites and avian and mammalian pests. Evidence of insects, ectoparasites and avian and mammalian pests or conditions that would allow or encourage infestation in a kennel is indicative of an ineffective program and unsanitary environmental sanitation in the kennel."},{"h":"Most dog records missing address","tags":[],"q":"This Warden observed incomplete records on dogs in kennel. Specifically, no name, address, or zip code on most of the entries. This Warden advised the kennel owner to take the following action: Complete records shall be kept on dogs within a kennel or being transported in a primary conveyance as prescribed by section 207 of the Act, and the records shall be kept at the kennel location or, when applicable, shall accompany dogs being transported. Every keeper of a kennel shall keep, for two years, a record of each dog at any time kept in the kennel. Such record shall show: (1) the breed, color, markings, sex and age of each dog; (2) the date on which each dog entered the kennel; (3) the full name and physical address at the time the dogs were received of the previous owner or kennel from whom the dog was received. This paragraph shall not apply to a boarding kennel; (4) the full name and physical address of the person or kennel to whom the dog belongs; (5) for what purpose each dog is kept in the kennel; (6) the date on which each dog leaves the kennel; (7) how the dog is dispensed. If the dog was transferred to another person or kennel, the record must state the full name and physical address of the person or kennel to whom the dog was dispensed; (8) the name, address and telephone number of the licensed doctor or veterinary medicine used by the kennel.
