Housing puppies with unrelated adults is a risk to the puppies welfare because they could be injured by the older dogs or the older dogs could restrict their access to food and water. Puppies may not be housed with adults that are not the dam of foster dam prior to 4 months of age. Correction Date: December 21st, 2023

Female dachshund ("Crystal", DOB 2021, tag # 2315) has poor dental health. The entire surface of the upper left and right cheek teeth are encased in a thick brown buildup of organic material and nearly the entire surface of both upper canine teeth are covered in the brown material. The gum line along the upper teeth on both sides of the mouth appears slightly reddened. The facility has a plan to maintain clean and healthy teeth, but no treatment has been provided or planned for the specific condition of this dog's teeth. Each dealer shall use appropriate methods to prevent, control, diagnose, and treat diseases and injuries. The applicant must have this dog evaluated by a veterinarian for an accurate diagnosis and to develop an effective treatment plan.
