Some dogs were observed with excessively long nails. This condition can cause injury to the dogs if they become caught in the wire flooring. The dogs nails need to be trimmed more often in order to prevent this issue. *******Correct by March 15, 2018

Rodent droppings were observed in the most of the corners in the sheltered dog building. Pets can harbor diseases and this contamination of the area can potentially cause the dogs to become ill. An effective program to prevent pests must be developed and maintained in order to prevent pests from entering the animal areas. ************Correct by March 15, 2018

Cages in whelping building are rusty and need minor repair.

Wood framed kennel in isolation area is not impervious.

An accumulation of pest droppings was observed around the food storage containers in the breeder building. A hole which allows for drainage of the wash downs was noted in this area without a cover. Vermin can contribute to the spread of disease and can have a negative affect on the health of the dogs. The licensee does have a pest control system in place, however it not sufficiently managing pests. Drainage systems must be constructed in a manner which minimizes vermin and pest infestations. The licensee must correct this issue. ******Correct by April 1, 2021

A male standard poodle was observed with matted hair. The head, neck and body had recently been clipped, however all four legs and feet were matted. Matted hair can become painful as it has the potential to lift and pull on the underlying skin. Allowing the hair on a dog to become matted does not constitute proper veterinary care. The licensee must ensure clipping is routinely completed in order to prevent matted hair coats on the dogs. *******Correct by 4/27/2023

Jagged wire was observed at the bottom of the chain link wire divider which was between two enclosures. Jagged wire protruding into enclosures could possibly allow the dogs to become injured. Facilities must be kept in good repair. The licensee must correct this issue. *********Correct by March 15, 2023

Floors in primary enclosure in large breed kennel are not impervious to liquids. Flooring that is currently being used is not waterproof and does not allow for liquids to bead up on the surface.

Breeders' name and address is not being recorded on Information Statements

Information Statements were incomplete on numerous copies reviewed- Source of animals was not provided, Certification of animal health was not checked as required, and record of immunizations were not recorded

The impervious surfaces of two kennels in the large breed dog barn have been compromised. Surfaces are no longer impervious to liquids and need repair.

The box on the Information statement regarding the animal's health at time of sale was not correctly indicated for one sale.
