- Large cracks in cement flooring
Warden observed large cracks in cement flooring of dogs’ housing facilities which was not constructed or maintained so that they are water resistant and may be readily sanitized.
- Veterinary care plan not implemented
Warden ascertained that the kennel did not implement the protocols of their plan of veterinary care in the kennel that addressed actions for imported and transfers of dogs into kennel. Kennel did not initiate protocols of kennels plan with dog coming from out of state in to licensed kennel.
- Dog from Ohio missing health certificate
Warden was unable to view a health certificate for one dog brought into the kennel from Ohio.
- Dog from Ohio missing vaccination proof
Warden viewed one dog that was brought into the kennel from Ohio. The kennel owner was unable to provide proof that said dog was vaccinated against rabies in accordance with the Act known as “Rabies Prevention and Control in Domestic Animals and Wildlife Act” or received an initial does of Distemper, Adeno, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus (DAPP), as certified by a licensed doctor of veterinary medicine.
