There are no records to indicate that 10% of the dogs had fecal examinations done within the past 12 months. Routine sampling of parasites and preventative care in the form of vaccinations for contagious diseases are methods used by veterinarians to be able to provide early detection and/or early protection against diseases and parasites. Licensees must follow the written PVC for dogs which addresses the requirements for adequate veterinary care for contagious diseases and sampling and treatment of parasites.
