The licensee did not have a complete Program of Veterinary Care. The Program of Veterinary Care at the facility was not signed and it did not list all of the products used at the facility. The Program of Veterinary Care must include the products used, the dosage, the route it is administered, how often it is used and what it is used for. The Program of Veterinary Care must be accurate and update if changes are made to the Program of Veterinary Care. All dealers must have a written Program of Veterinary Care to ensure that the animals at the facility are receiving proper veterinary care. The licensee stated that the attending veterinarian is working on the new Program of Veterinary Care, but it was not available for inspection by the USDA. To be corrected by: 05-13-15.

The facility does not have a current program of veterinary care for dogs. The last program of veterinary care for dogs was dated 05-2023. The facility must develop a program of veterinary care for dogs in writing and signed by the attending veterinarian. The program must include all preventative vaccines to include rabies, all parasitic preventions including testing for internal parasites. A hand on head to tail exam by a veterinarian and a site visit not less than once every twelve months. Also include methods to ensure healthy hair coats, healthy and clean eyes, ears, skin and teeth. All licensees with regulated dogs are required to have a program of veterinary care for dogs to provide for the health and well-being of the dogs. To be corrected by: 11-08-2024.
