  • Poodle with wire-entangled leg

At the time of inspection, a six-month-old female poodle identified as “Maria” was observed running around the enclosure having a long piece of loose wire was entangled in the hair of her right rear leg. The entangled wire is a potential source of injury to the animal. Housing facilities for dogs must be designed and constructed so that they are structurally sound, kept in good repair, and they must protect the animals from injury.
