The beige tenderfoot flooring in two of the outside section of the pens is missing coating which exposes sharp rusty metal underneath. Also one of the sections is comp[rised of two sections, one section is tilted which leaves a gap approximately 1&1/2 inch high in front of the door. This gap and the exposed rusty metal can cause injury to the dogs. The rust also prevents adequate cleaning of the flooring in the pen. The tenderfoot sections should be repaired or replaced to ensure the pens have safe flooring that can easily be cleaned. This is a 1st Re-License Inspection for a Class A license.

The vaccination protocol in the Program of Veterinary Care has not been followed. 48 of the adult dogs have not received distemper and parvovirus vaccinations in the last year. The current PVC prescribes for adult dogs to receive these vaccinations yearly. Distemper and parvovirus are contagious diseases which can cause illness, stress, and even death. Correct by ensuring vaccination for contagious and/or deadly diseases of dogs (including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus), in accordance with a schedule approved in the PVC, is appropriately followed by the licensee. Correct by, 23-August-2024.

Upon inspection a female Dachshund last four of microchip #1757 had red tissue protruding from their right eye, during the inspection the licensee was able to contact their veterinarian and make an appointment to have it treated 05/19/2026, the inspector will return to ensure compliance with this issue.
