Wardens were unable to match up the number of dogs on the records with the number of dogs in the kennel.

Wardens viewed that several of the kennels primary enclosures were not large enough for the dogs house therein.

The licensee is keeping records of acquisition of dogs on hand and dispositions of dogs but is not utilizing required APHIS Form 7005 and APHIS Form 7006 for puppies that are on hand or sold. Failure to utilize APHIS required forms may result in incomplete records that do not properly track all information when dogs are acquired or sold. Each dealer must use Record of Acquisition and Dogs and Cats on Hand (APHIS Form 7005) and Record of Disposition of Dogs and Cats (APHIS Form 7006) to make, keep, and maintain the information required. Upon arrival the kennel owner did not have all records up to date.

Warden was unable to inspect ventilation system as multiple aspects of it were not in operation.

The dogs are being vaccinated for distemper and parvovirus but no vaccine records were available for review. Failure to document vaccinations can result in not adhering to the appropriate vaccination schedule described in the Program of Veterinary Care. There were 4 kennels containing 13 dogs total that had puppy doors between the indoor and outdoor runs that were in need of repair. The truscore panels bordering the puppy doors on the inside of the kennels were broken resulting in jagged edges that could injure the dogs. The broken areas also resulted in exposed wooden beams that were not impervious to moisture. Failure to maintain primary enclosures in good repair with no sharp edges can result in injury to the dogs. Exposed wood that is not impervious to moisture cannot be properly cleaned and sanitized and may result in disease hazards that affect the dogs. Primary enclosures must be constructed and maintained so that they have no sharp points or edges that could injure the dogs. Correct by: May 6, 2026
