- Rusty floors, dividers, door frames, hinges
Roughly half of the outdoor portions of the enclosures (especially those facing south - the licensee's wife stated these enclosures are used more often) have floors and dividers that have excessive rust where the black coating of the wire has worn away and the underlying metal is exposed and rusty. Additionally, some of the dog door frames on the indoor portions have rusted metal areas, and the hinges on the outdoor dog doors also appear rusted. Rusty surfaces do not facilitate cleaning and sanitization, as the porous character of the metal can harbor disease agents such as virus, bacteria, or parasites.

- Vaccines not up to date
The facility is not following the program of veterinary care for vaccinations. The program of veterinary care currently prescribes dogs will be vaccinated for Distemper, Parvovirus, and Leptospirosis annually. All 18 adult dogs currently housed at the facility were not administered the DAPPL2 (7-way) vaccine in 2024 and are overdue per the program of veterinary care. Failure to follow the preventative care schedule for vaccinations in the program of veterinary care does not ensure the dogs are receiving appropriate protection against contagious and deadly diseases such as distemper, parvo, leptospirosis, and rabies which can lead to illness and discomfort to the dogs. The facility must follow the vaccination schedule approved by the attending veterinarian in the program of veterinary care to protect the dogs from deadly or contagious diseases.
