  • Kennel exceeded licensed dog limit

    After thorough review of kennel records, online research and a search warrant performed on October 25, 2021, after the inspection, wardens determined that the kennel owner surpassed the kennel’s license class (Kennel Class II) and failed to obtain the correct license for the volume of business being conducted. There was a puppy which had deceased after a week which was not dated on records and an additional dog bought into the kennel which had not been recorded. On or about September 25, 2021, the kennel exceeded the number of dogs on premises allowed by the kennel class II (51-100 dogs of any age during a calendar year) held and did not apply for an upgraded kennel license to a kennel class III, which the kennel is now operating.

    At the time of inspection, two dogs had left the kennel and new owner information was not filled in, wardens requested the records be filled in during the inspection.
