Looking for a Collie breeder? Glossy websites and cute puppy photos make it hard to know what a kennel is really like. Pawthenticity is a nonprofit that collects public government inspection records into free, searchable breeder profiles, so you can see what inspectors found before you bring a Collie home.
Pawthenticity tracks 6 licensed kennels that breed Collies. They average 57 dogs of all breeds, and the largest has 122. 3 kennels (50%) have been cited by inspectors, for 18 citations in total. The kennels are in 3 states, mostly Pennsylvania (4), Kansas (1) and Missouri (1). Hobby and unlicensed breeders aren't included.
