Looking for a Papillon breeder? Glossy websites and cute puppy photos make it hard to know what a kennel is really like. Pawthenticity is a nonprofit that collects public government inspection records into free, searchable breeder profiles, so you can see what inspectors found before you bring a Papillon home.
Pawthenticity tracks 18 licensed kennels that breed Papillons. They average 105 dogs of all breeds, and the largest has 399. 7 kennels (39%) have been cited by inspectors, for 127 citations in total. The kennels are in 8 states, mostly Missouri (4), Indiana (4), Ohio (3), New York (2) and Kansas (2). Hobby and unlicensed breeders aren't included.
