• English Bulldog with green nasal drainage

  In the kennel facility there is one adult male English Bulldog named Joe, chip #019353849. The animal needs to be evaluated by the attending veterinarian. During the inspection the animal had green drainage from both nostrils. The dealer stated this condition had been reoccurring for approximately the past three to four months. The animal must be evaluated by the attending veterinarian and the dealer must maintain written documentation of the evaluation and all treatment. Affects one adult. Correct by August 8, 2014

• Enclosures with debris and syringes

  The kennel facility consists of one sheltered building where all contained animals have access to both indoor and outdoor primary enclosure portions. On the interior and exterior of the shelter building there are twelve enclosure portions. All of the enclosures need to be cleaned to remove the build-up of dark matter and hair on the walls, floors, doors and divider panels. The dealer stated he cleaned every one to two weeks. Through out the common areas of the kennel building there are accumulations of dead insects, spilt food, used syringes, dark matter under the puppy stack cages and wall insulation material. Hard surfaces which the dogs come in contact must be spot-cleaned daily to prevent accumulations of excreta and reduce disease hazards. All other surfaces of housing facilities must be cleaned and sanitized when necessary to satisfy generally accepted husbandry standards and practices to protect the health and welfare of the animals. Affects thirteen adults and fourteen puppies. Correct by August 13, 2015

• Food bags touching wall

  Although the food bags were stored elevated off the floor the bags were in contact with the wall. Food must be stored at least six inches away from the wall to prevent rodents from being able to use the wall to climb up the food bags. This minimizes contamination and disease risks to the food and the dogs. Correct by July 3, 2017
