Adult dogs without heartworm prevention
Currently, heartworm prevention is not being given to adult dogs in accordance with the Program of Veterinary Care (PVC). The licensee states he has some Ivermectin but he is not using it. Heartworm disease is a parasitic infection spread by mosquitos to dogs. Dogs affected may cough or show signs of pain or discomfort. Each dealer shall use appropriate methods to prevent diseases as established in the PVC. Correct by: ensuring appropriate dogs are given
