During inspection, the puppy wasn't moving around much. When asked, the licensee stated the puppy seemed to be thriving and doing well the first four days, but she noticed that it wasn't moving around much last night. She stated the status hasn't seem to change from last night. The licensee hasn't contacted the attending veterinarian and hasn't done anything to provide treatment to the puppy. Not contacting the attending veterinarian on a nursing puppy that doesn't seem to be thriving over the past day could result in the puppy getting sicker. A mechanism of direct and frequent communication is required so that timely and accurate information on problems of animal health, behavior, and well-being is conveyed to the attending veterinarian. The attending veterinarian must be contacted and the puppy must be treated per his/her instructions. Correct starting on 11/20/25."}],"si":1}]}
