- Female Pug right eye crusted
The right eye of an adult female Pug (microchip # 4C23373F33) appeared dry and rough on the surface. There was a thick matter with hair stuck to the middle of the surface of the eye that did not move when the dog closed its eye. The licensee had not observed the condition and the animal was not receiving treatment.
- Pug and two females long nails
An adult female Pug microchip # 4C23373F33, a black and white adult female microchip # 053782799, and a white and grey female microchip # 0A02333632 had excessively long toe nails.
- Grey and white female matted coat
The grey and white female also had an unkempt hair coat with matted hair on her back legs and buttocks and long hair covering her eyes.
- Indoor birthing area ammonia odor
The indoor portion of the whelping facility did not have sufficient ventilation and smelled of ammonia. The facility has an auxillary ventilation fan which was not running. Breathing air with high ammonia levels can lead to health complications. The licensee shall provide sufficient ventilation to minimize odors and reduce ammonia levels.TO BE CORRECTED BY: 11/6/2015
