- Acquisition paperwork incomplete
At time of inspection the acquisition paperwork was not complete. Several of the animals on hand did not have documented identification, although microchipped. To promote accurate record keeping, the licensee should complete the acquisition records by documenting the microchip numbers. To be corrected by 9.19.25
- Shih Tzu and Poodle matted coats
At time of inspection two Shih Tzu's (Cora 991003001835903 and Dora 992000001396905) and a Poodle (Jack 901001000067032) were exhibiting matted hair coats. Matted hair can cause pain, discomfort and potential skin issues. The licensee should consult the program of veterinary care for guidance on healthy unmatted hair coat. To be corrected by: 9.19.25
