Looking for a Samoyed breeder? Glossy websites and cute puppy photos make it hard to know what a kennel is really like. Pawthenticity is a nonprofit that collects public government inspection records into free, searchable breeder profiles, so you can see what inspectors found before you bring a Samoyed home.
Pawthenticity tracks 9 licensed kennels that breed Samoyeds. They average 103 dogs of all breeds, and the largest has 430. More than half (5 kennels, or 56%) have been cited by inspectors, for 468 citations in total. The kennels are in 7 states, mostly Iowa (2), Pennsylvania (2), Nebraska (1), Wisconsin (1) and Kansas (1). Hobby and unlicensed breeders aren't included.
