Wardens observed multiple primary enclosures that were heavily soiled with an accumulation of dirt, debris and excreta.

Three dogs (1) Bulldog type breed dog, (1) German Shepherd type breed dog, and (1) St. Bernese Mountain type breed dog in this kennel were ordered to have a veterinary examination because of suspected ear infections and skin conditions.

Found breeder through: Lancaster Puppies Breed: German Shepherd Got puppy: 2025 Price paid: $600 Pickup or delivery state: Pennsylvania Received puppy: Picked up at the kennel Infectious disease or parasite: None Other health condition: Seizures or neurological problem — Age diagnosed: 1–3 years Kennel visit: Yes Offered to take puppy back: No Experience with this breeder: We bought our puppy September 22, 2025. August of 2026 she had cluster seizures. Took her to the emergency vet and they kept her overnight. Ran tests and couldn't find anything. Diagnosed as idiopathic epilepsy. They gave her Clorazepate for a month and Levetiracetam every 12 hours, 2 pills 500 mg each. Took her to our vet for an exam and they gave a prescription for her medication. September of 2026 she had another seizure. Called vet, they upped dosage to 3 pills every 12 hrs. October 6, 2026 she had more cluster seizures. Vet sent in prescription for phenobarbital. She was never right after that. Remained blind and pacing. She snapped at me which was totally unlike her. She passed away on Saturday, October 10th. I called Mr Glick and told him about our experience. He said he's never had any complaints. I said epilepsy is genetic and I'd worry having a pup from the same mom and dad. He said he didn't remember who the dad was, that he had a different male at one point. I just wanted to let him know so maybe someone else wouldn't go through this heartache. He said their last shepherd puppy had just recently left. You can use our names if you want to. James Bechtold.
