    Wardens viewed that the kennel owner violated the kennel’s license type and failed to obtain the correct licenses for the types and volume of business being conducted (commercial and dealer).

  • Incomplete transfer records

    Kennel owner did not possess complete and accurate records for all dogs transferred by the kennel for the year.

  • Several dogs matted

    During the inspection, wardens observed several dogs with moderate to severe matting.

  • Standard Poodle-type male severely matted

    "Rocket", a male, adult, black and white Standard Poodle-type dog was severely matted. He had generalized matting of his fur with urine, dirt and feces. His matting, when palpated, was present down to the level of, and pulling on, his skin. "Rocket" also had a significant amount of feces matted to his perianal area.

  • Ventilation equipment not installed

    While a certification was present, wardens were unable to make the minimum inspection of assuring that the proper mechanical ventilation, auxiliary ventilation, or humidity control system was installed or operational as not all of the required equipment was installed.

  • Black Pomeranian jumping enclosures

    Wardens observed one black Pomeranian freely jumping from one enclosure to another during the inspection.

  • Nursing bitches in small enclosures

    Wardens observed nursing bitches in enclosures that were not adequate in size.

    The kennel owner and her daughter completed a lease agreement attempting to seperate 12 dogs from her ownership; however, this lease agreement was not valid. The following violations are based upon the housing of these 12 dogs.

    Warden viewed that not all dogs were in a primary enclosure that was large enough for the dog housed therein.

  • Dogs housed on wire flooring

    Warden viewed that a dog was being housed in a cage that had wire flooring. Also in the main kennel a mother with puppies had access to an area that was wire flooring.

  • 12 dogs lacked unfettered exit

    Warden viewed upon arrival 12 dogs did not have unfettered clearance out of their primary enclosure.

  • 12 dogs blocked from exercise area

    Wardens viewed that upon arrival 12 dogs did not have unfettered clearance to their exercise area.

    Warden viewed that 12 dogs had not been examined by a veterinarian at least once every six months.
